Neon nights

British graffiti artist Pref reimagines the Fendi logo
By Alex James Taylor | Fashion | 13 May 2019

British graffiti artist Pref has remixed the Fendi logo as part of a new collaborative capsule collection – titled Roma Amor – between him and the Roman fashion house.

Known for his work reinterpreting words and phrases through multi-layered murals, typography and 3D design, here, Pref works his magic on the Fendi logo by twisting it into a psyched-out wave.

Now, we’re given our first peek at the collection via a new video (below): inspired by Fendi’s native Rome, we’re introduced to a global friendship group who gather in the Italian capital. First stop? Fendi’s incredible HQ, Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana, where these friends dance under its arches to the sound of FM Attack’s noir synth.

As for the collection itself, it’s as standout as Pref’s graphics due to futuristic neon accents throughout. Womenswear highlights include oversized bomber jackets, platform boots, leather bikers, mink fur coats and a range of accessories, while menswear is all about tees, joggers, printed shirts, silk pyjama sets and windbreakers, amongst others.

More information on the collection can be found here.
