Holiday town

NYC artist Jeremyville creates a playful holiday city for this BOSS capsule
By Alex James Taylor | Fashion | 4 December 2018

Having trained as an architect before shifting his focus to art, it makes perfect sense that, when New York-based artist Jeremyville puts pen to paper, his signature works are bustling cityscapes populated by cartoonish streets and whimsical figures.

Tapped by BOSS, Jeremyville’s latest project sees the Australian artist team up with the German brand for a special limited edition holiday capsule. The collaboration sees a playful Jeremyville city relocate across a range of BOSS menswear, womenswear and accessories, including backpacks, t-shirts and footwear. Populated by four lead characters – including Jeremyville’s iconic bunny and a pig to mark the Chinese New Year – we see each one prepping for the Christmas hols.

“I love the backpacks and the outerwear jackets,” the artist told BOSS in an interview about the collaboration. “I use backpacks often to hold my portable studio as I travel around the world: my sketchbook, laptop, pens, ink and brush. So these backpacks will certainly be used by me at the studio and in my travels. The jackets too, usually hold lots of pens and a notepad for quick sketching on the subway or train. I’m into anything functional, utilitarian and with a strong design style. So this range is perfect!”
