Travis Scott dances to Iggy Pop for Saint Laurent’s new campaign

Having previously set himself on fire for Anthony Vaccarello‘s debut Saint Laurent imagery back in 2016, Travis Scott returns to front the house’s SS19 campaign. Photographed by David Sims, these latest images see the Texan musician fully clad in Vaccarello’s latest menswear offering.

You’ll remember the show, it was the one backdropped by the dazzling light grids of the Lower Manhatten skyline. Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s infamous 1978 Opium fragrance release party – aboard a ship on the East Harbor and costing a rumoured $300,000 – Vaccarello’s 2018 boys were primped for a hedonistic time of their own; all black and gold tuxedos, tan suede jackets and a finale that saw models walk the runway bare-chested, painted in silver glitter with necklaces tangled across their torsos.

The campaign comes accompanied by a video of Scott soundtracked by Iggy Pop‘s 1996 classic, The Passenger.
