Lacoste serve up an interchangeable and unisex SS19 collection
By Mark Felt | Fashion | 28 September 2018

Lacoste’s classic polo is a universal wardrobe staple. Now, the sports brand has taken that gender-neutral concept a step further by creating a fully interchangeable and unisex SS19 collection that rejects “hyper-gendered fashion” in tune with the current movement towards non-gendered fashion.

Shown here in a lookbook shot by British photographer Craig McDean, the collection blends the French brand’s heritage tennis codes with a 90s ‘sportscore’ aesthetic. Cue side-striped track pants, high-waisted technical jersey shorts, overwashed denim, skater belts, bucket hats and Boogie Nights-style aviator sunglasses Meanwhile the signature L1212 piqué polo is reimagined in XXL proportions and the iconic crocodile motif appears throughout.
