Good times

We all know Jeremy Scott loves a good time – it’s well documented; from his wild fashion week parties (hangover guaranteed) to his playful designs – and we also know that he loves a good collaboration – there was H&M, M·A·C, Adidas and oh, his winged pushchairs for Cybex, of course.

Combining these two loves, Scott’s latest collaboration sees him team up with luxury vodka company Cîroc. Having launched at the designer’s SS19 show in Milan last month, the collaboration sees Scott offer a personalised limited-edition bottle design as well as selecting a line-up of global creative names as the faces of this new venture. The line-up includes models Golden Barbie and River Viiperi alongside African rappers Wizkid, Cassper Nyovest and Thando Thabethe.

Marking the release, we spoke to WizKid about the collab: “[Cîroc] had reached out some time ago because they thought I could bring some energy to the project,” Wizkid tells us. “I feel there’s a genuine appreciation for my what I do and where I come from and that’s a big deal for me before linking with any brands because I always make my core fans and supporters proud and feel connected.”

And as for working with Scott? “It was cool… I respect what he’s doing and his vision. This went well with him, so I’m definitely looking forward to more campaigns.”

“I love the cheeky, playful nature of Cîroc,” said Scott of his appointment. “It connects perfectly with my approach to both life and fashion, so the partnership felt natural; there’s such synergy. I design a lot around personal, customised twists so it’s great to bring this into the partnership too. It’s been fun to bring together our bold take on luxury and I can’t wait to see what the year holds.”
