Harry Styles gets friendly with a goat in Gucci’s latest tailoring campaign

After his FW18 outing to the local chippie in suburban North London, Harry Styles finds himself in the altogether more regal setting of Villa Lante’s Renaissance gardens. The 16th century villa lies just north of Rome and provides the setting for Gucci’s Cruise 2019 tailoring campaign.

It’s a far cry from the world of saveloys and grease-stained newspaper but what remains a constant is the menagerie of farm animals that accompany him. Gone are the hen and dog, only to be replaced by a pack of bewildered piglets, a lamb and a baby goat. Shot by Glen Luchford, the campaign combines a number of Gucci’s new sartorial and technical pieces, sufficiently Gucci-fied with pattern, ornate embellishments and intarsia knits.
