After his compelling performance in Barry Jenkins’ Oscar-winning Moonlight, actor Ashton Sanders now takes a leading role in 7 For All Mankind’s FW18 campaign. Shot by photographer Billy Kidd, Sanders joins a curated line-up of ambassadors drawn from the worlds of music, film and fashion.

Alongside Sanders, the denim brand have recruited musician Arlissa, stylist Pernille Teisbaek and models Philippe LeBlond, Stella Maxwell and Paloma Elsesser – all leading voices in their respective fields.

Promoting a message of self-expression, Jenna Habayeb, Chief Marketing Office of 7 For All Mankind said of the campaign: “As we enter into a new age of diversity celebration, we want our brand to be a part of the moment for culture awareness, acceptance and inclusion.”

Shot on the streets of Los Angeles, the campaign reflects both the brand’s men’s and women’s FW18 collections. Embracing the idea of LA nights and the city’s native rock ‘n’ roll characters, the brand offered up skinny silhouettes, high-waisted flares and the kind of Perfecto jackets that’d turn Joey Ramone’s head.
