From Elephant & Castle to New York, Turin, Tokyo and Hollywood, giant 3-D murals (such as the one above) of the Aphex Twin logo had caused a global stir when they appeared in recent weeks. Today comes the news we all hoped for: a new Aphex Twin EP is on its way.

The announcement, coming in the form of a teaser poster from Warp, is the same warped shape and so, in true Aphex style, the text is virtually illegible. Until now. Thanks to some anonymous whizz, the de-coded version of the message can be found below. From what we can gather – which admittedly isn’t much – the EP will be called Collapse and there’s a suggestion floating around cyber space that the first track will premier on Adult Swim tonight. Try and decipher the message for yourself below, and keep your eyes and ears peeled.
