Givenchy’s new campaign celebrates the freedom of having a really good time
By Alex James Taylor | 11 July 2018

Earlier this year inside the Palais de Justice, Clare Waight Keller served up a sinister and cinematic FW18 Givenchy collection. All velvet curtains and pinpoint precision spotlights, here was a noir remix located somewhere between Old Hollywood, 80s Berlin and 90s NYC.

Shot in black and white by Steven Meisel, a new accompanying campaign expands on that grit and glamour tension. “The in-crowd is heading to a party at a secret address,” reads the press release, “Getting there is about having the right GPS coordinates – and the right look. Once inside, there’s more going on than meets the eye.”

Soaked in carpe-diem ‘tude, the imagery embraces the freedom and energy of having a really good time. And when you’re head-to-toe in Givenchy, that mindset is as integral as the label itself.
