With footy-fever reaching an unexpected climax this summer (for England, anyway), Louis Vuitton are weighing in on the excitement in a way only they know how: a highly covetable monogrammed trunk. Vuitton’s expertise in such matters is of course, legendary, but this is no mere carry-on. Flick the latches and inside you’ll find a collection of old World Cup balls signed by members of each tournament’s winning team, dating back to Brazil 1970 and the Telstar. That’s right, these aren’t just balls but relics with individual names and identities; the Tango, the Azteca, the Tricolore, the Jabulani. Plus one additional football, specially designed by Louis Vuitton.

And now, as part of a Moscow charity gala dinner thrown in aid of Naked Heart Foundation, twenty-five of these trunks will be be put up for an auction that anyone can enter. All you need do is register a telephone line so that you can be contactable during the auction or so that you can leave an absentee bid. To register, just send an email to Sasha Minina at sasha@nakedheart.org. Happy bidding, bring it home.
