Big reveal

At the end of his FW18 show, Simon Porte Jacquemus stepped out to take his bow in hoodie emblazoned with the words ‘L’Homme Jacquemus’, revealing the launch of his debut menswear line. Leaving the crowd anticipating how the French designer’s sensual aesthetic will translate to menswear.

Soon, all questions will be answered. On the 25th June, to be precise, bringing the fashion crowd to the South of France (we approve) the day after Paris Fashion Week Men’s draws to a close. Although exact location details are being kept under-wraps, everything points towards Marseilles, the city where Simon Porte was born and where he staged an encore of his SS17 show.

What’s more, the brand has announced its first Jacquemus man, French international rugby union player Yoan Maestri, wearing seen wearing a pair of white shorts accessorised by a matching dog. A clue to what we can expect? Not long until all is revealed.
