The menswear designer carousal continues to spin: Berluti has announced that Haider Ackermann is leaving the brand having been appointed artistic director in 2016.

“Haider has been at the core of the evolution of Berluti’s collections and image these past few seasons,” said Antoine Arnault, CEO of the House. “I want to thank him for everything he has accomplished since his arrival. His feel for materials, colours, and his wonderful shows will always be linked to the history of the House.”

“I am immensely proud to have been able to put my creativity at the service of this House with an exceptional know-how, whilst working with a passionate team. I thank them for their commitment,” said Ackermann of the move, having joined the house just three seasons ago.

Berluti will announce Ackermann’s successor shortly, rekindling rumours that Kris Van Assche will join the brand having left his role at Dior Homme earlier this month. LVMH said at the time that the Belgian designer would take up a new assignment within the group but did not specify where.
