Archy Marshall (aka King Krule) does not cease to surprise us. The South London artist has always viewed the visual presentation just as important as the sonic landscapes he conjures up in his bedroom-slash-studio. Often creating with his brother, Jack Marshall, the twenty-something has now turned his attention to social media. Instagram, to be particular.

In a new challenge that Archie has presented to his fans via @oozskyphotos, the artist invites anyone and everyone to submit their own version of The OOZ album cover, featuring a plane smoke trail against a clear blue sky. The number of prizes and what they will entail is unclear, but “there is already a prize ready” according to Archie – and it’s sure to be a good one.
