Burgeoning Russian street-wear brand PACCBET are set to release a twelve-piece capsule collection with iconic New York brand Carhartt. The label, (pronounced ‘rassvyet’ in Russian) is designed and conceptualised by Gosha Rubchinsky and his friend and pro-skater Tolia Titaev, and takes classic street-wear silhouettes inflicted with subtle Soviet aesthetics; whether that be through Cyrillic script or graphic prints. ‘Paccbet’ means ‘dawn’ in Russian, reflecting Gosha’s mantra of finding the beauty in Russian culture, and bringing it to light.
This new collab – and Paccbet’s first – takes inspiration from late 80s and early 90s skate culture, flaunting oversized and boxy fits reminiscent of Carhartt’s earliest designs.
The collection will be previewed on 23th January at Carhartt’s flagship store in Paris, and is being stocked in Dover Street Market from the 24th.
