Kris Van Assche‘s latest campaign for Dior Homme‘s Black Carpet taps legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier. 

Established in 2016, the capsule line serves as a playground for experimentation and reinterpretation of eveningwear.“The idea of the black carpet was to convey the energy and rebellious attitude of the runaway collection on a capsule collection of eveningwear while playing with the embellishment codes and the know-how of Dior,” revealed Van Assche when unveiling the latest collection.

The new line is a playful yet sleek revision of the evening suit. Filtering Dior’s youthful energy, the line-up boasts embellished jackets, ornate confetti appliques, buckle beats, leather sequins, and extravagant floral patterns.

The campaign follows last season’s Karl Lagerfeld-shot imagery starring actor Robert Pattinson.
